Scott Monheit, D.O.

My Story…

My life growing up has always been associated with medicine and I knew from a young age that I wanted to be a family physician. This passion continues to motivate me. My father started his practice when I was 3 years old and my mother managed the office; that started my interest in medicine.

I graduated from the University of Colorado at Boulder with a degree in history, minoring in biochemistry.   I attended the New York College of Osteopathic medicine with subsequent internships which gave me experience treating patients in urban, suburban and rural areas.

I was fortunate to spend the next 15 years working alongside my father in the practice I knew as a child, learning and growing as a physician.

My new journey has brought me to Clinix where I will continue to grow and I am fortunate that many of my patients followed me to continue their care.

My professional interests include diabetes, psychiatric care, pediatrics, gynecology, dermatology, geriatrics, cardiovascular diseases, gastrointestinal diseases, diseases of the urinary tract, and musculoskeletal disorders.

I am grateful to have the support and resources to help my patients here at Clinix.

My leisure activities include spoiling my amazing wife and vacuuming up the hair from our enormous dog and numerous cats.   I enjoy hiking and the outdoors, playing softball, reading and a good movie.

I am a Colorado native and love the Broncos, Nuggets, Rockies, Avalanche and the Buffs!
