My Story…
My early interest in nutrition and natural healing started in my first profession as a teacher. It was during my second year of teaching that I realized my passion in life may not be teaching arithmetic to adolescents. I was plagued with uncertainty about my next steps and coincidentally developed a skin condition. Several weeks later, still suffering from what was pityriasis rosea, I was invited to a wholistic health lecture. This experience, paired with my propensity to educate, set me on a path toward doctoring through natural healing. When I came to the decision to make chiropractic my career choice, my skin condition was 80% improved within 24 hours. I must admit that was my first encounter with the body’s innate ability to heal when stress is removed.
Chiropractic has provided me a platform for treating, motivating, and empowering patients to address their health issues. Through traditional chiropractic methods, acupuncture, allergy elimination and genetic methylation protocols, I have consistently been astounded by my patients’ ability to respond to treatment and improve their quality of life with more energy and less pain.
Visiting China with an acupuncture study group in 1994 confirmed to me the efficacy of this ancient healing art. Acupuncture led the way to studying an allergy elimination protocol in 1996 which I have practiced and witnessed helping hundreds of patients with a myriad of health challenges.
A relatively new avenue to determine nutritional needs based on our genes and dna is known as Wholistic Methylation. I have studied and practiced this over the past 3 years and have seen major improvements reflected in mood, energy and symptoms in youngsters and adults alike. This is a profound protocol I am excited to offer to my patients.
The magic and miracle of natural healing has continued to inspire me for decades! I am fortunate to have my professional family at Clinix and my personal family at home be a perfect pairing for fulfillment in both arenas.
