My Story…
My passion and inspiration for becoming a primary care Nurse Practitioner began during my 15 years as a registered nurse. I want to prevent people from becoming hospitalized by helping patients reach their optimal health through early intervention and preventative measures.
As a Family Nurse Practitioner and University of Colorado Anschutz Medical graduate, I am educated in treating all ages. This is what I love most: being able to care for people throughout their lifespan.
I support strongly that open and honest communication is key for a successful patient relationship. This model of care produces the best outcomes for my patients.
I have travelled many times to developing countries for medical mission trips. I firmly believe I have a responsibility to share knowledge and skills with those less fortunate who do not have the same access to healthcare resources as we do in the U.S.
When I’m not traveling for Mission trips, I enjoy traveling for pleasure. My favorite place so far is Uganda. I am an outdoor enthusiast and enjoy running, hiking, biking, and horseback riding. I believe that nature is the best medicine for the soul!
