Licensed Massage Therapist
Reflexology, Massage Therapy, Neuromuscular Therapy and Active Isolated Stretching
My healing journey began in the 1970’s when I worked as an EMT in New Mexico and began studying varied forms of healing. I feel strongly that all paths to healing are significant. There is no separating the mental, emotional, spiritual, and physical bodies. Patterns of dis-ease frequently show up on all of these levels.
The focus of my practice is to help clients overcome their musculoskeletal aches and pains and to empower them to learn to stretch for health. I treat injuries from auto accidents and sports as well as old injuries, stiffness, and aches and pains associated with old age. I enjoy treating all ages, from babies to seniors, including women during their pregnancies.
I am passionate about teaching stretching, anatomy, and self-care to my patients. I know that patients are far more willing to do self-care when they understand how to be responsible for their own health. I also enjoy instructing my fellow massage therapists.
I have taught numerous courses to various schools of massage, to yoga instructors, and also at weekend seminars.
I began my massage instruction at Health Options Institute in North Hampton, PA, and graduated in 1997 from the Florida College of Natural Health in Oveido, Fl. I have further advanced my training with several hundred hours of continuing education with a specialized focus on neuromuscular therapy and active isolated stretching.
I have resided in the Denver foothills since the fall of 2012 when I moved to Colorado to unite my family and I love to wildcraft medicinal herbs!
